Wrap Around Cover Art:

Description:
One cold night near Halloween, five-year-old Jody Wendt sees something
amazing: a boy made of metal with the head of a pumpkin outlined
against the rising moon. Overcome with curiosity, Jody follows the
Pumpkin Boy into the woods, and abruptly disappears from the face
of the earth . . .
So begins The Pumpkin Boy, the latest chapter in the remarkable
series of Halloween tales by Al Sarrantonio known as The Orangefield
cycle.
In The Pumpkin Boy meet Bill Grant, the older-than-his-age police
detective who has already seen too many strange Halloween happenings
in the seemingly idyllic upstate N.Y. town of Orangefield, and Len
Schneider, the new detective on the force haunted by a past mistake
and obsessed by the abduction of the Wendt boy.
Together, and with horrific results, they will solve the mystery
of Jody Wendt, and of the eerie clown who appears at Orangefield's
annual Pumpkin Days Festival and calls himself Uncle Lollipop .
. .
